About CGO Movies

CGO Movies is a rapidly expanding UK-based film media brand delivering daily entertainment news, industry insights, red-carpet coverage, interviews, and high-engagement digital content to a global audience. As part of our strategic growth, we are looking for a dedicated Advertising Sales Representative to join us on a commission-only contractor basis.

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial salesperson who can identify advertising opportunities, approach potential partners, and close deals across our media network (CGO Movies, FilmDB, STAGE, FilmIndustryJobs UK).

This is a performance-driven role, ideal for individuals who prefer flexible working arrangements and high earning potential through commissions.

Key Responsibilities

– Identify and contact potential advertisers, PR agencies, film distributors, brands, and production companies
– Sell advertising products such as banner ads, sponsored articles, interviews, video placements, reels/shorts sponsorships, and multi-platform media packages
– Build and maintain long-term client relationships
– Manage your own sales pipeline and outreach strategy
– Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams after contracts are signed
– Maintain accurate records of leads, negotiations, and closed deals

Requirements

– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Previous experience in sales, advertising, PR, or media is an advantage but not mandatory
– Self-driven, independent, and comfortable working on commission-only basis
– Ability to generate leads and manage your own workflow
– Interest in the film and entertainment industry
– Professional English proficiency

Compensation Structure

– Commission-only contract (no base salary)
– High commission percentages per closed deal
