How to install
Installation differs slightly by browser. FilmIndustryJobs automatically uses the best available method on your device.
Android and supported Chromium browsers
- Tap Install FilmIndustryJobs above.
- Confirm the browser installation prompt.
- Open the FIJ icon from your Home Screen or app launcher.
If the browser does not expose its install prompt, open the browser menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
iPhone and iPad
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
iOS uses the Safari Home Screen flow instead of Chromium's programmable install dialog, so FilmIndustryJobs shows the correct instructions for the device.
Reinstall any time
Deleted the app? Install it again whenever you need it.
Removing the Home Screen app does not remove your FilmIndustryJobs account or data. Return here and install it again; supported browsers re-check the current state instead of permanently trusting an old browser flag.

Is this a separate App Store or Google Play app?
No. FilmIndustryJobs is installed as a Progressive Web App from the live FilmIndustryJobs website. No app-store download is required.
What happens if I delete the installed app?
Your FilmIndustryJobs account remains unchanged. You can return to this page and install the web app again.
Will deleting the app delete saved jobs or applications?
No. Saved jobs, applications, messages and account data are connected to your FilmIndustryJobs account, not to the Home Screen icon.
Does the app work offline?
FilmIndustryJobs does not currently claim offline job browsing. The installed app uses the live service and requires a network connection for current jobs and account data.
Why does installation look different on iPhone?
iPhone and iPad use the Safari “Add to Home Screen” flow. Android and supported Chromium browsers can provide a native install prompt directly from the page.
