The CAD Designer (Seasonal) with Disney Live Entertainment (DLE) synthesizes technical design intent for events, theatrical shows, and parades that delight guests at Disney Parks and Resorts around the world. Whether developing new shows or sustaining our existing offerings, DLE CAD Designers create the drawing packages, models, and visualization resources that bring our shows to life. In this role, you will translate ideas and sketches through 3D CAD/BIM Software into documentation and models used by our partners to produce a variety of themed entertainment offerings. This job is highly collaborative, with CAD Designers constantly acting as information conduits to the larger design team. Your design work may support scopes as small as one-day events and as large as decade-spanning venues. To ensure the success of each DLE offering, you will be expected to lead design reviews, document markups, and model coordination efforts on your projects. You will report to the Manager – Fireworks & Technical Resources. This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.
