Coordinator provides support to the SVP, Development and Production at National Geographic Content. Content team partners with PMD and other departments manage creative, budgets, schedules, and deliverables with third party production companies. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include managing the Executive’s schedule, meetings, agendas, deadlines and communications across multiple time zones, handling travel arrangements and expenses, creating and synthesizing data-driven reports and presentations for high level executives at National Geographic and Disney, coordinating with internal stakeholders, overseeing departmental budget, and supporting administrative tasks, including mail, supplies, and vendor relations. Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of long form, unscripted production experience working as a Production Coordinator or Production Assistant on original productions for cable networks and/or streaming platforms and/or third-party production companies. Preferred qualifications • Knowledge of production and post-production processes and logistics in addition to familiarity with broadcast deliverables and technical specifications. • Experience working with international clients and Artificial Intelligence. Required Education: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $59,600 to $79,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
