Job Purpose:At ODEON Cinemas Group, we don’t just procure goods and services — we help create unforgettable cinema experiences for millions of guests across Europe.We’re looking for a Senior Buyer with a strong background in IT procurement, who’s excited to step into a broader role influencing multiple categories and shaping the future of procurement in a dynamic, customer-driven business.In this role, you'll take ownership of our Technology procurement strategy, while also supporting and leading sourcing across a wider range of indirect categories — from digital platforms and media services to operational spend that directly impacts the cinema experience.Please note that interviews for this role are planned for 5th and 7th August.Key Accountabilities:Own and evolve IT / Technology category strategy across Europe maintaining direct alignment to the overall company objectives & strategyLead end-to-end sourcing (RFPs, negotiations, contract execution)Build strong internal stakeholder relationships across IT, Digital, Marketing, Finance and OperationsDeliver value through cost optimisation, innovation, and supplier performanceEmbed risk, ESG, and compliance considerations across the supply baseBuild strong supplier relationships and governance frameworksAnalyse spend, market trends, and performance to drive better decisionsLead by example within the procurement team, wider OCG business and supply base to ensure cultural values are embedded and maintainedThe role will involve European travel as requiredKey Skills:Strong background in IT / Technology procurementExperience operating in a multi-country/territory or complex organisationStrategic mindset with ability to deliver hands-on executionExperience running tenders and negotiating high value contractsAbility to work across multiple categories, not just ITStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsCommercially driven, analytical, and adaptableAbility to work within in a dynamic, fast-paced business environmentStrong communication & developed influencing skills; with an ability to “take people with you”.Comprehensive analytical & PC skillsSupplier Management - proven track record of influencing suppliers to get the "best deal"Ability to develop supplier relationship management standards, and monitor supplier & contract management processes to ensure all suppliers meet our ethical and compliance standardsODEON
