Senior Fire Protection Engineer

Architecture & Facilities Engineering (A&FE) is looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to support the development and sustainment of projects we support throughout the Disneyland Resort and ancillary properties. Our department supports a wide range of project types ranging from Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise, Entertainment, through extended properties. Projects range from minor renovations to new on existing facilities and utility-based assets. Additionally, supporting immediate response efforts with reactionary projects. The role requires performing as the Owner’s Representative with technical expertise for engineering issues, design management of in-house and outside resources, code compliance, Disney design standards, documentation, specifications, and life cycle cost analysis for best value. This role also involves close collaboration with other engineering disciplines and multiple Disney project teams. You will report to the A&FE MEP Engineering Sr. Manager and sit in Anaheim, CA. You Will / Job Responsibilities Leadership: • In this collaborative role, you will act as Owner’s Technical Representative on projects from concept through sustainment throughout the Disneyland Resort and ancillary properties. • Perform as Owner’s Representative, including witnessing the signing and sealing of construction documents as needed. Management: • Manage the design and development of contract documents of projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules, and budgets. • Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that comply with specifications and code requirements.
