Freelancer Terms
Additional terms for freelancers, crew members and independent production professionals.
These Freelancer Terms apply to crew members, freelance professionals, contractors, consultants and independent service providers.
1. Profile accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of your services, departments, role titles, day rates, currency, availability, service areas, travel preferences, portfolio, credits and work examples.
2. Rates and availability
Rates, currency, expenses, travel, accommodation and availability are informational unless confirmed in a separate agreement between you and the hiring party.
3. Contracts and payment
FilmIndustry Jobs is not automatically a contracting party, payroll provider, tax advisor or guarantor of payment between freelancers and employers unless explicitly agreed in writing.
4. Portfolio rights
You must have permission to link, upload or display portfolio work, showreels, images, credits and client references.
5. Employer contact
Employer discovery and messaging may be controlled by platform visibility, review status, rate limits and privacy settings. Employers should not receive direct private contact details unless the platform explicitly allows it or you provide them.
6. No false claims
Do not misrepresent credits, work history, qualifications, union status, equipment, insurance, licences, work authorisation or availability.
7. Plan and feature changes
Freelancer tools may change as the platform develops and may be included in free or paid packages with clear prospective notice.

CURRENT FINANCIAL MODEL
FilmIndustry Jobs does not currently provide freelancer payroll, escrow, invoicing or in-platform payment settlement. Freelancer and client financial arrangements are handled directly between the parties unless a future specific service expressly states otherwise.
