Job Posting Policy
Rules for film, production, cinema, festival, event and live entertainment job listings.
This policy applies to job posts, gig posts, freelance calls, event roles, production roles, internship posts and company hiring content.
1. Accuracy
Job posts must accurately describe the role, employer or production, location, work mode, contract type, expected dates, pay/rate or unpaid status, expenses, application method, deadline and key requirements.
2. No misleading jobs
Fake jobs, speculative listings, bait-and-switch roles, hidden fees, pyramid schemes, lead harvesting, unpaid work disguised as paid work or misleading employer identities are not allowed.
3. Equality and non-discrimination
Job posts must not unlawfully discriminate or encourage discrimination based on protected characteristics or local equality rules. Requirements must be genuinely relevant to the role.
4. Pay, unpaid roles and expenses
Paid, unpaid, volunteer, student, internship, expenses-only, deferred payment and profit-share roles must be clearly labelled. Employers are responsible for complying with wage, labour, union, tax and local employment laws.
5. Sensitive roles
Casting, performer, minor, intimacy, stunt, hazardous, travel, accommodation, night-shoot, live event, crowd safety and sensitive roles must include appropriate safeguards and truthful details.
6. Event and live entertainment jobs
Festival, premiere, screening, red carpet, concert, music festival, tour, live capture, live stream, backstage, front-of-house and technical event roles must clearly state the event type, dates, venue/location, call times, rate, expenses, safety requirements and whether work involves public-facing duties.
7. Data collection
Employers must not request unnecessary sensitive personal data, passwords, bank details, identity documents, medical data or protected information through unapproved channels unless there is a lawful and necessary reason.
8. Moderation
We may reject, edit, hide, archive or remove job posts that appear unsafe, unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, incomplete, spam-like or outside platform scope.

CAREER SEARCH SOURCE JOBS
Some listings are synchronized from official employer career pages, authorised feeds or supported ATS systems rather than posted by a logged-in employer. These records should preserve the official apply URL and source attribution. Publication does not imply an employer account or commercial relationship.
RELEVANCE
FilmIndustry Jobs focuses on genuine screen, cinema, media, production, post-production, broadcast, streaming, distribution, publicity and related production functions. Unrelated retail, resort, hospitality or other non-screen roles can be excluded even where the parent company also operates film or entertainment businesses.
SOURCE LIFECYCLE
A temporary source/API failure is not evidence that every vacancy at that source has closed. Automated removal should rely on a complete, reliable source snapshot or other authoritative closure evidence.
